At just 28 years of age, Kristin Berardi has already performed extensively at jazz festivals and jazz clubs throughout Australia and overseas. She was the winner of the 2006 International Jazz Voice Competition held at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and appeared at Montreux in July 2007. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Rafael Karlen has spent the majority of his life in Australia. Coming from a very musical family, Rafael only felt the need to take up the saxophone when he was thirteen.
